Momo Crawl T.O returns to Little Tibet on Sunday, July 29, 1-5 p.m., and it’s bigger and better than ever! What’s a momo, you ask? Momos are delicious Tibetan (and Himalayan) dumplings mixed with a balanced blend of herbs and spices, hand-wrapped in dough and steamed to perfection.
The concept of the Momo Crawl is simple: purchase a passport for $25. Take your passport around to the ten participating Tibetan and Nepali restaurants in Little Tibet (Parkdale). Enjoy these iconic, savoury and juicy dumplings. All participating restaurants will have meat and vegetarian options.
This year’s restaurants are Daiko, Garleek (NEW), Himalayan Kitchen, Little Tibet (NEW), Loga’s Momo Corner, Om Restaurant, Shangri-La Restaurant, Tashi Delek Café, Tibet Kitchen and Yak Cafe (NEW).
The Momo Crawl is brought to you by Students for a Free Tibet – Canada, a non-profit, youth-run organization that works in solidarity with Tibetans in Tibet. Get your tickets on eventbrite now! For more information, check out the Facebook event page.
