“It’s really important that tomorrow’s leaders have the resources to make a positive impact and be profitable at the same time.”

Activities: S.T.O.P.: Shaping Tomorrow’s Organizational Practices. I just joined at the end of last year, and it’s all about educating future businesspeople (and everyone else!) about socially-conscious business practices. I think it’s really important that tomorrow’s leaders have the resources to make a positive impact and be profitable at the same time.

You have to eat at: Bagels, Etc. – amazing breakfast/brunch. Bagels galore.

If you need to study, head to: the Second Cup on McGill College. Plenty of seating in the atrium and free wifi!

My favourite class was: Negotiations and Conflict Resolution with Prof. Jay Hewlin

The best thing about my school is: The profs seem to actually care about what they’re teaching.

Make sure you avoid: Crescent St. clubs, unless you like to be harassed incessantly or groped.

My favourite memory so far has been: Going to Mont-Royal with my friends after the last exams of the semester. It’s the perfect way to de-stress!

If I could sum up my school in one sentence, it would be: Prestigious but unfortunately also a little bit pretentious.

Any other hints? Super Sandwich in Place Cartier (Peel & Sherbrooke) has excellent, cheap sandwiches, and the study/group meeting rooms in the Education Building are usually unoccupied.
