Lululemon is hosting the ultimate mashup of athletics, art, music and community for a workout unlike anything you’ve experienced before: Beats & Balance.
This Saturday at the Arcadian Court in Toronto, lululemon is bringing together some of Toronto’s best fitness instructors & showcasing exercise concepts native to the city. These classes will be paired with live musical performances by Glen Morrison, Frank Walker, Hedspin and others. Beats & Balance will be hosted by Sarah Taylor & Tyrone Edwards and will continue after the last class with headlining DJ Brendan Fallis, food and drinks.
100% of the ticket sales from this event are being directed to The Remix Project, whose programs service disadvantaged youth from marginalized communities who are trying to enter into the creative industries.
If you’re not into working out that day, you can still come by to check out over 7000 sq. ft. of market space where both Remix graduates and other local artisans will be selling their wares. Admission into the marketplace is free, and a karma donation of $5 toward The Remix Project is suggested.
