Shopping local is always a great idea, whether it’s for your clothing, your produce, or your entertainment. Supporting local means helping build your own city’s economy; you’re “keeping it in the family,” so to speak.
#LOVELOCAL is a Toronto Social Review party dedicated to celebrating local Toronto photographers, writers, and filmmakers for “our friends, our community and our Toronto.” How can you not be into that?!
Taking place this Friday, August 9 at 720 Bathurst St. (fourth floor), #LOVELOCAL will feature an art installation by Akin Collective, a musical performance by The Lost Babies, and a DJ set by Fill Spectre.
It all kicks off at 9pm and goes till late, and entry is pay what you can. But you can also opt for an advanced VIP ticket, which guarantees your entry (plus gives you other perks depending on which price point you go for).
Sounds pretty awesome, don’t you think? Support local! This is your city.
