One of the best things about summer in Toronto is, hands down, Trinity Bellwoods Park. Located in a great part of town and close to some of the city’s best bars and restaurants, the park is a great green oasis where you’re sure to bump into at least eight people you know (plus a babe in a tank top or 12).

For the second year in a row, Shedoesthecity is thrilled to sponsor the Great Heart Festival (brought to you by Live In Bellwoods and Young Lions Music Club), which takes place in this magical park we all love so tenderly. Back for its fourth year, the Great Heart Fest is taking place this Thursday through Sunday (June 13-16), during the heart of NXNE. Participating artists perform completely acoustically, making for an incredibly raw and intimate sound. Grab a coffee from Ella’s Uncle, pack some snacks, bring a blanket to lounge on, and enjoy some amazing emerging musicians. Bring your dog! Bring your little sister! Bring your mom! Everyone will luv it.
