This weekend at Downsview Park, let a new book kick-start you on a journey through nature!

This Sunday, June 10, meet at the Discovery Centre (70 Canuck Ave., rear door of building) at 2 p.m. for a read-aloud. Then, you and your kiddos can choose a book that will serve as the launchpad for park exploration. Park staff have selected a group of amazing reads that connect to the local environment, and there are so many different habitats and ecosystems in the park to connect to! Once you find a book that piques your interest, take it for a walk and see what you discover.

This program is free, but please note there may be some uneven terrain not suitable for strollers. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Event lasts approximately two hours. Fire up your imagination and connect with your natural world! Get all the deets here.
