Sure, it’s awesome to watch comedy in a packed venue—with waves of laughter reverberating through the room—but the lineup of talent that Just For Laughs announced today has us totally pumped for their first ever virtual fest.
The first squeal of delight came when we learned that Tasmania’s Hannah Gadsby, who captured audiences worldwide with her Nanette special on Netflix, would be performing at #JFL2020. Then a loud shriek followed when saw Sarah Cooper’s name on the list, or the comic who gained international fame for her hilarious Donald Trump lip-synch videos.
And then the body thrills kept coming as we continued to read the outstanding roster of talent that includes Amber Ruffin, writer and performer for Late Night with Seth Meyers; Nicole Byer, host of Netflix hit Nailed It’; RuPaul Drag Race winner Trixie Mattel, award-winning Canadian comic, Deanne Smith, and so many more!! EeeeeeeeeyessssssOMG, this is going to be good.
