It’s the inaugural year of 7 Fierce Femmes, a fete that celebrates seven women who are trailblazers in their respective fields. Honouring Canadian women in arts and media, 7 Fierce Femmes is a night to rub shoulders with like-minded ladies, enjoy delicious food and drinks, and support a good cause, the Seventh Stage Theatre Company. Entertainment for the night will be provided by DJ Lissa Monet, who bought a set of turntables because she was frustrated with the lack of female DJs she saw performing. Now, she’s DJ’d for the likes of Drake and U2.

The bar will be fully stocked thanks to sponsors Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, Iceberg Vodka and Labatt. There will also be $7,000 worth of amazing Silent Auction items up for grabs, including a week-long stay at Anamaya Body Mind & Spirit Resort in Costa Rica.
