Get twisted this Friday at Design Exchange (234 Bay St) as Ryerson University’s School of Interior Design will showcase sculptural and digitally fabricated installations at IN FLUX: an artful mash-up of design and science.
You’ll see firsthand how 81 blocks can be arranged 43 million different ways, experience mind-blowing projects inspired by Moire pattern and dazzle camouflage, and be awed by an off-the-wall work inspired by Callophrys rubi, a tiny butterfly. If that’s not trippy enough, DJ Odario – a regular mixmaster of Grand Analog – will be spinning. Plus there will be complimentary drinks from Ace Hill beer and snacks from Marigold and Onions – including ice cream. Sold.
