On Wednesday, August 28, head to 26 Soho St. (unit 350) for Hot Pop Factory‘s 3D Printing for Total Beginners workshop! Have you always been curious about 3D printing? Maybe you’ve always wanted to try it but never knew where/how? HERE’S YOUR CHANCE!

At this handy workshop, you’ll will learn the basics of digital fabrication, find out where you can get 3D printable models online, see how items are translated from the computer onto the 3D printer, watch the 3D printer do its thang, get yourself 3D scanned (spooOOooOOooOOOooky), and take home your very own 3D print that you made yoself! Soooo basically it’s going to be loads of fun.

The workshop goes from 6:30pm to 9:30pm; tickets are $49 and can be purchased here. And remember to bring your own Windows or Mac laptop, mouse, and USB stick!
