Plant Sale @ Concordia Greenhouse
Delicate plants carefully cultivated by Sustainable Concordia’s resident green thumbs now have the chance to die in your kitchen! They’re hosting a plant sale all week long in the greenhouse (12th floor of the Hall Building), so celebrate spring with a little foliage. Culinary and medicinal herbs from $1 to $3, house plants from $2 to $15.

Improv-a-Gogo @ Comedy Works
Those still reeling from the cancellation of Whose Line is it Anyway (it’s a private tragedy for most) can derive solace from On the Spot, a Montreal improv company that’s been entertaining the crowds with off the-cuff-humour for the last 20 years. Wednesday at Comedy Works they host Improv-a-Gogo, a Hawaiian/surfer themed improv comedy night.

Jai Guru & RiddimWise @ Bobards
Montreal-based band Jai Guru showcases their reggae-infused folk at Bobards, featuring songs from their upcoming second album. With reggae group RiddimWise.

Gary Schwartz‘s Concordia Jazz Ensemble Concert performs a selection of Herbie Hancock songs re-arranged for a large jazz ensemble.

Woodhands @ Club Lambi
Local indie keytar band Woodhands launches their new album Remorsecapade with a concert at Lambi. Joined by openers Diamond Rings and interspersed with various DJs. Woodhands were recently named one of “the 10 Best New Bands on Earth” by British tastemaker Q Magazine.
