We love her approach to clean living and think you’ll find her easy tricks helpful and inspiring.
One of my very first tips is something I’m always strongly urging clients to do: Look at your WATER INTAKE habits. Did you know that headaches, backaches, sore joints and memory loss are just a few of the negative effects of dehydration? It’s important to remember to drink/sip on water throughout your entire day, preferably separate from your meals!
Here’s a little trick to gauge how much water is right for you:
IDEAL AMOUNT: Your body weight divided by 2 = number of ounces* per day
*One glass = 8 ounces
For example, if you weigh 150 lbs, you should be drinking 75 ounces of water per day. That’s nine glasses! And sorry, but herbal teas, juices and coffee do not count towards your h2o intake.
Bring the spa home by jazzing up your glass with some of these refreshing combos. Many have the added bonus of vitamins!
Cucumber and Lemon = Very Spa-Like
Fresh Ginger & Lime = Great for Digestion
Crushed Berries = The Original Vitamin Water
Orange & Grapefruit Slices = Vitamin C Boost
