SDTC: What do you do for work? For fun?
R: By day, I am a policy advisor with the provincial government. When I am not working, I can be found exploring new corners of the city, scoping out fun, new restaurants and checking out one of the many festivals going on. I also enjoy taking yoga, meditation and ballet barre classes.
SDTC: If you won the grand prize (a $2,500 travel gift card!!!), where would you go and why?
R: I would be on my way to hike Patagonia in a heartbeat! Seeing Chile and Argentina and hiking Patagonia has always been a dream; I can regularly be found looking up photos and reading travel guides on this area “just in case.” The culture, history, food and natural beauty are mesmerizing, I can’t wait to experience them in person. I have also never truly travelled alone – this would be a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow from the experience!
SDTC: What’s your favourite way to spend a scorching summer day?
R: On a bar patio with friends, soaking up the sun over hours of good conversation and delicious, local craft beer!
SDTC: One summer beauty essential you can’t live without is…

SDTC: What trend are you most looking forward to rocking this summer?
R: Silky shirts in sorbet colours – perfect for pairing with jeans, shorts or skirts on both summer days and nights!

SDTC: What do you do for work? For fun?
S: Right now I work for TIFF, and for fun I love to go out to concerts, see films, and have friends over for good food.
SDTC: If you won the grand prize (a $2,500 travel gift card!!!), where would you go and why?
S: It’s so hard to choose! I think maybe I would go to Halifax for Halifax Pop Explosion. I have never visited the east coast and I want to see more of Canada.
SDTC: What’s your favourite way to spend a scorching summer day?
S: Hanging in the shade at Trinity Bellwoods with some drinks, snacks, besties, and my puppy Sherlock Bones.
SDTC: One summer beauty essential you can’t live without is…
S: A nice lightweight and moisturizing sunscreen! I am a super fair-skinned ginger so I basically can’t leave the house without it.
SDTC: What trend are you most looking forward to rocking this summer?
S: I am really loving the minimalist monochromatic look. Lots of black and white stripes, clean long lines, interesting cuts. It’s also really easy to mix and match, making mornings a breeze!

SDTC: What do you do for work? For fun?
A: I am Agricultural grader and mom; I love my family, friends, dog and travel! Whether I’m camping or having a staycation, I have fun everywhere I go. I love taking photos and have always dreamed of working in tourism.
SDTC: If you won the grand prize (a $2,500 travel gift card!!!), where would you go and why?
A: If I won the grand prize I would go to Toronto and Niagara. I would start the fun off in Toronto with the CN Tower then head to the ROM, maybe even Wonderland! I would then make the trip to Niagara for some relaxation.
SDTC: What’s your favourite way to spend a scorching summer day?
A: I love to hit the beach, hike in the cool shade of the woods or go on roller coasters! Summer is my favourite time of the year; there is always fun waiting outside!
SDTC: One summer beauty essential you can’t live without is…
A: I can’t live with out my sunblock in the summer. It keeps my skin healthy because I do like my time in the sun, but wrinkles…not so much!
SDTC: What trend are you most looking forward to rocking this summer?
A: This summer I am going to rock being myself; fip flops, hats and comfy clothes! You’ll always look great as long as you’re having fun!

SDTC: What do you do for work? For fun?
C: I work in the world of website development. I love to travel and to see and experience art and culture. I’m inspired by the world around us and you can usually find me taking lots of pictures, especially of nature and architecture!
SDTC: If you won the grand prize (a $2,500 travel gift card!!!), where would you go and why?
C: I would love to travel to Japan! I can only imagine how wonderful the culture and food are, and it would be a dream come true to see the cherry blossoms and temples in person.
SDTC: What’s your favourite way to spend a scorching summer day?
C: I’d spend a scorching summer day outside enjoying the sun with a walk in the park or a BBQ with friends. Grabbing some ice cream to cool off is always a nice treat, too!
SDTC: One summer beauty essential you can’t live without is…
C: Definitely my sunscreen! It’s important to apply SPF all year round and particularly in the summer when the sun is shining and I spend more time outdoors.
SDTC: What trend are you most looking forward to rocking this summer?
C: Summer is my favorite season for fun, colourful trends. I’m looking forward to rocking rompers, printed shorts, and crop tops!
