Once again Variety Magazine, the go-to for entertainment news, moved into Holt Renfrew to conduct interviews with filmmakers and talent for four very packed days of TIFF. Sponsored by British Airways, guests like Hollywood heavyweight Harvey Weinstein were able to rest their legs in a pretend airplane seat while others, like Clive Owen, enjoyed posing with flight attendants.
Scarlett Johansson, Jesse Eisenberg, Jared Leto, Juno Temple, Maria Bello, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Lewis, Dakota Fanning, and every other A to Z in town dropped in to talk about their film, and everyone left with a very hefty bag of Moroccanoil hair products. Also in attendance was fashion bogger Tavi Gevinson, who has blossomed into a total blonde bombshell; lil’ rookie no more!
The Variety Studio kindly provided hand massages to stars in need. Susan Sarandon enjoyed one while her dog Penny sat quietly on her lap (you can follow Penny Sarandon on Twitter!).
