Good Day Hairshop, “Toronto’s next generation of alternative salon,” launched last Thursday with a performance by basement pop trio, Dragonette.
Good Day Hairshop was founded by Tegan Mierle and Jonathon Burford, who longed for a place where you could get a simple, yet modern cut; where you wouldn’t be overcharged, or sent away with a mom cut. It would be a place inspired by street style and wearable cuts.
“Our team of stylists at Good Day is way more excited about Audrey Kitching’s pastel pink hair or LaurDIY’s perfect ombre than who won the latest regional hair competition,” said Burford.
Good Day Hairshop is located in Kensington Market at 32 St Andrew St. You can book online or drop in. Follow their Instagram for daily hair inspiration. Click below to view.
