The Golden Lonesome photography exhibition features the work of Toronto-based photographer Arden Wray. A self-proclaimed nomad, Wray says her photographic practice stems from a diaristic documentation of her life as a single woman in her mid-twenties. “I respond to the way in which strangers, especially communities of women, can become a transient family if you let them. In my images, I want to immortalize that liminal state of beginning.”

Golden Lonesome takes place from March 6 to April 10 (Opening: Thursday, March 10th, 6-9 pm) at the Likely General (389 Roncesvalles Avenue).

Hours of operation:

Monday to Saturday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
