Camilla – pardon me, the Duchess of Cornwall – got it last week, and by golly girl, now it’s your turn. The time has come for you to get The Royal Experience – the annual cocktail, horse jumping, dancing extravaganza geared towards younger patrons of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. A truly royal experience is a tricky experience to define, what with the Prince Harry generation interpreting it as stumbling out of private Chelsea clubs at 3am, and the Queen Elizabeth generation favouring the pretty horses and corgie dogs perspective. Lucky for you, attending The Royal Experience this Friday will capture both sides of the royal spectrum. Yes, there will be Moet & Chandon cocktails, Givenchy and Dior swag, black tie finery, men in kilts and box seats for the horse show. But there will also be Shinan Govani hosting and opportunities to grind with farm boys in a hitching ring. And city girl, trust me when I say you’ve never partied till you’ve partied with a prize cow.
