Yelloweek celebrates the rich culture of the iconic Veuve Cliquot brand and the creative endeavors it has inspired around the world. Spurred on by Madame Cliquot’s zest for life and fearless ‘tude, this year’s theme – Let Life Surprise You – is all about embracing the unpredictable and using it to push forward to create something incredible, much like Mrs Cliquot herself. An early entrepreneur, she took over the brand after her husband’s untimely death in 1804 (she was only 27 at the time) and transformed it into one of the most successful and recognized champagne houses in the world.

For the first time ever, Yelloweek will run simultaneously in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver from May 1 – May 7, 2015. So, prepare for a series of week-long events! Yellow TABLE pairs champagne with scrumptious dinners at Toronto’s most unique restos. Yellow HOTEL offers luxe overnight staycations with room service and surprises at the Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square. Yellow ART connects the public to Canadian art. Yellow By The GLASS allows you to enjoy a glass or two of your favourite Veuve offering throughout the city. And then, there’s Yellow NIGHT (AKA PARTY TIME) where art, bubbly and Toronto’s most stylish collide!

As exciting and luxurious as some of these events are, the takeaway here is to remember to spoil ourselves now and again, and enjoy the small indulgences life has to offer. We think that’s what Madame Cliquot would have wanted.
