This March 13, join the conversation about sexual harassment and discrimination in the legal professions. This event is designed to contextualize the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements in today’s legal workplaces.
The panel will include Lai-King Hum (Discrimination and Harassment Counsel) and Sharan Basran (Manager of Litigation, Ontario Nurses Association) and will explore how different voices are engaged or absent from the conversation, how we can find a preventative approach that addresses underlying systemic factors, and to support survivors in a way that and puts procedural fairness and due process within reach.
This free program will take place at Osgoode Hall (130 Queen St. W) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., followed by a reception from 7:15 to 8:30. Members of the public are welcome. Register here.
