In honour of World AIDS Day, Heads & Hands will be holding a FREE, anonymous HIV screening clinic for anyone 12-25. Anonymous HIV testing means that there is no record of the test (or its results) on your file, since it uses a code on the test and not your name or your health insurance info. That means that you’re the only one who knows your results. The results take two weeks to come in, which is average for any non-rapid HIV test.
Heads & Hands is an organization dedicated to working with youth and promoting their physical and mental well-being. From tutoring, fundraising, providing sex education and legal help and offering a Youth Parents program, Heads & Hands is a safe place for all youths, without judgment or discrimination.
If you’ve been wanting to get tested, you should take the opportunity! The HIV screening clinic will run from 5pm-9:30pm on Tuesday, December 1st at the Heads & Hands office at 5833 Sherbrooke W, in NDG. It’s free, but donations are always appreciated!
