Welcome to Feast Your Eyes, a new series from SheDoesTheCity that will pair the best of Toronto’s arts and cultural events with a delicious local restaurant. Our curated recommendations will aim to match the unique vibe of a local event with a nearby, must-try restaurant, so you can enjoy an evening of the best Toronto has to offer.
There’s perhaps no better time to explore Toronto’s culinary scene than during Winterlicious. From January 31-February 13, more than 230 restaurants across the city will offer reduced prices on fixed lunch and dinner menus. You can enjoy a delectable 3-course meal at an affordable price, and the offerings span the vibrant spectrum of cuisine available in the city.

The Feast: The bright and spacious dining space at Toronto’s oldest operating hotel provides a laid-back atmosphere to enjoy a cozy, comforting meal. The Gladstone Café will offer both lunch and dinner menus for Winterlicious, with plenty of delicious vegetarian and gluten-free options, plus your choice of Triple-Layered Chocolate Torte, Crème Caramel or Warm Apple Pie for dessert.
The Experience: Get your sketch on at this groovy drawing disco! As part of Art Week at the Gladstone House, dance along to an infectious soundtrack as you sketch a live model decked out in disco attire. Visual artist and OCAD instructor Erin Finley will provide prompts and guidance for artists of all skill levels.
