“You don’t know where your’e going unless you know where you’ve been.” That’s the mantra for F-You: The Forgiveness Project’s latest event, coming up on Saturday, June 2.
Taking place at 6pm at 2 Pardee Ave., this free event features four speakers who will talk about their experiences with starting a new life in Canada (some who did so without any support). With backing from the Canadian Council for Refugees, this evening talk is bound to be interesting and inspiring.
For the last two years, F-You has completed numerous workshops and discussions surrounding the idea of forgiveness. With an impressive track record of 28 workshops and over 2,500 attendees, F-You events feature high-profile speakers who share their stories of crossing the line from victim to victor. Previous topics have included STDs, gun violence, abortion, bullying, abuse, heartbreak, and betrayal. Each discussion is uplifting, and the upcoming one on June 2 will surely be no exception.
