Next Wednesday March 4, the Women’s Brain Health Initiative will be holding their annual The Executive Brain event at TIFF Bell Lightbox. This fundraiser will feature a panel of Canada’s top female business minds, including Jeanne Beker, Ellen Moore, Jennifer Carter and Michele Maheux. All profits will support The Women’s Brain Health Initiative. The Women’s Brain Health Initiative creates education programs and funds research to combat brain aging diseases that affect women.

Women suffer from stroke, depression and dementia twice as much as men as they age and represent 70% of new Alzheimers patients, yet research in this field has been historically focused on the male experience. The Women’s Brain Health Initiative aims to correct this research bias through education and the funding of research to combat those brain diseases that primarily affect women. Women’s mental health is important to everyone and anyone who has a mother, sister, daughter or wife they love and care about.

The event will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Match 4. Tickets are $95 and can be purchased here.
