Judy Chicago’s pivotal work, The Dinner Party, is the inspiration for a new kind of dinner party at Drake Commissary (128 Sterling Road).
On October 29th, thirty of Toronto’s top female chefs, along with artists Ness Lee, Sandra Brewster, Diane Borsato and Jennifer Murphy, will create “a contemporary celebration of Chicago’s iconic installation with a seven-course feast in an immersive art environment.” In a twist, the city’s top male chefs will participate as servers and staff.
First seating is at 5 p.m., the second is at 9 p.m., so you have two chances to experience the feminist dining experience of a lifetime. Reserve your seat here.
