On Sunday, Sept. 29th, the David Suzuki Foundation is leading a Homegrown Park Crawl through the Garrison Creek Corridor. You’ll be accompanied by great food and music along a tour of four Toronto parks: Christie Pits, Bickford Park, Fred Hamilton Park, and Trinity Bellwoods.
There will be food vendors (including Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, County General, URSA, Jamie Kennedy, Pizzeria Libretto and more) at each stop, and food tickets are 5 for $20 in advance, or $5 each at the event. Each park will host entertainment and activities, and Lemon Bucket Orkestra and Choir!Choir!Choir! will help parade marshals lead the troupes from one park to the next.
Proceeds from the event go to the David Suzuki Foundation. It all kicks off at 11 am in Christie Pits. To purchase food tickets and for more information, click here.
