On Saturday, July 9th from 2pm-3am, It’s Not U It’s Me will take over the Power Plant’s terrace and three-story theatre for 13 hours of music, audio-visual performance art and sculptural installations. You ready to lose yourself?
The event is modelled after the MoMA PS1 Warm Up party in New York, and for it’s inaugural program, It’s Not U It’s Me brings in Detroit techno legends Claude Young and DJ Stingray, as well as Berlin-based DJ Avalon Emerson, among others.
Move your body, get sweaty, immerse yourself , and experience work by artists Diana VanderMeulen, Alvin lvLuong, Trudy Elmore, Karl Skene, Peter Rahul, Studio 93h and more.
It’s Not You, It’s Me. Are you committed? Dance, baby…sometimes it’s the best way to get it all out.
