There are many iconic brands that keep whippin’ up the same old shit year after year while trying to convince consumers it smells like roses. Converse is not one of them. Instead of piggybacking on past successes, the brand goes out of its way each season to develop new silhouettes, colours, designs and fabrications.

This Spring, Chuck Taylor All Star shoes have gotten a makeover using garment dyes in rich colours and vintage materials. What’s more, every season, Converse comes up with a story theme. This Spring’s motifs include “rock concerts, summer picnics and butterflies.” We like – and can’t help but daydream about picnics in the park and delicate cucumber sandwiches with no crust, of course!

Equally exciting is the Chuck Taylor Women’s All Star Lights collection, which separates itself with a sleeker silhouette and soft canvas upper for a more tailored look. We can’t get enough of the Blue/Orchid and Raspberry hues. So fresh!
