Surely by now you’ve heard of—and perhaps even been to—Toronto’s ping pong bar SPiN. And that’s because it’s awesome.
The King West hot spot (461 King St. W., lower level) is celebrating its second birthday this Friday, Sept. 20, and you should be there! From 8pm to 3am, join in the fun of SPiN Toronto Turns Two; the event, which is open to the public, will feature live painting of ping pong tables by local street artists, 11 ping pong tables up for auction, various SPiN resident DJs plus the incomparable guest DJ Brendan Canning, and a “king of the court” showdown. Plus, all proceeds benefit The REMIX Project. This cool organization helps marginalized and underprivileged GTA youth break into the creative industries and further their formal education.
A fun night of ping pong and dancing, all for a good cause? You clearly do not want to miss this!
