Hip hip hooray! The 2nd Canadian Wool Week had its official launch at the ROM this morning, supported by two iconic Canadian brands, LINE Knitwear and Holt Renfrew. Wool Week is part of the Campaign for Wool, a global charitable initiative started by Prince Charles to raise awareness about the unique, natural and sustainable benefits offered by wool. (Besides, the fall season is all about cozying up with a cup of tea and a wool scarf/sweater/blankie/whatever!)
On Saturday September 19 and Sunday September 20 from 12 pm to 4 pm, Holt Renfrew customers can experience LINE’s live knitting animation at the Bloor Street store. This includes a live knitting circle, wool spinning, yarn bombing and more, all while using 100% Canadian wool in the signature Holt Renfrew magenta shade.
Customers can also shop LINE’s new Fall/Winter 2015 collection at Holt Renfrew Bloor this weekend both at the Wool Week H Project pop-up shop at the concourse level and in Women’s Contemporary.
