Say ciao to ‘lackluster-lower-main,’ and hello to magnifico authentic Italian in a beautifully designed atmosphere. Dinner or lunch in the front is great for treating a guest or lucky coworkers to something special, but the wine-bar around back is Campagnolo’s more casual and unique feature that Vancouver dinning-aficionados have most likely already enjoyed – it’s subtle, comfortable and the food absolutely impresses.
Located on Main near Pacific Central Station, the space is unpretentious and contemporary in concrete walls and warmth from wood finishes, with a lighted bar-top in the back in an unbelievably tasteful paisley pattern. Going above and beyond top-notch rustic Italian dishes is what they do; Campagnolo’s weekly staples are embraced by locals.
