If you love Motown and soul tunes and have not yet been to Motown Party, you have not lived. The party happens on the first Saturday of the month at 751 (751 Queen St. W.), and has been going strong for 4+ years thanks to Good Kids and a stellar lineup of DJs.

This Saturday, guest DJ Misty Rock ‘n’ Roll joins Fawn BC and Caff upstairs where they’ll be playing Motown, northern soul, and remixes while DJs Brett Millius and Reverend Throwdown offer up an all-vinyl set in the basement. You can expect to hear old favourites and rare grooves from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Four Tops, The Temptations, and whatever else they feel like playing. Eyesore Cinema will provide video and prizes.

Doors at 10pm, $5 before 11pm and $10 after. (751 has limited occupancy so get there before 12:30 to avoid dissapointment.)
