The sound of slurping has echoed through the streets all summer long, it seems, and now, Café Sardine presents their take on the Japanese cuisine with a nightly ramen pop-up. Former Guu chef Hachiro Fujise’s Izakaya menu has been so well-received that they’ll be serving it for the foreseeable future.
The small menu is filling and affordable—five dishes between two people will leave you satisfied and run you less than $40—but not veggie-friendly, so if you don’t eat fish or meat, pop up elsewhere. Seatings begin at 6 pm nightly at the small space (9 Fairmount, just east of St. Laurent).
