Last week, the first Canadian Woolrich store opened at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, and the launch party guest list included a mix of Canadian fashion editors, style bloggers, as well as Hollywood elite, like Jaime King, Emma Roberts and Avan Jogia.
We get it: everyone loves the classic, cozy Woolrich wardrobe staples. They are winter essentials, whether you’re hiking trails in California or prepping for an Algonquin getaway.
Down parkas, Buffalo check flannel, snowflake cardigans, turtlenecks: Woolrich has a long-standing tradition of making outerwear and stylish classics that are built to last season after season. Years ago, I purchased Woolrich’s red and black button-down tunic dress, and I have gotten more mileage out of it than my 2016 snow tires.
There are a lot of brands and boutiques that sell plaid shirts and cute Christmas sweaters, but this isn’t disposable fashion: Woolrich offers high-quality clothing that will endure both the test of time and all the fast-lived trends.
Photos by George Pimentel below should offer you some style inspo for the long winter ahead.
