Women make interesting stories I want to hear. And I don’t get to hear enough of them, especially not in film—women make up only 6% of Hollywood directors! The Breakthroughs Film Festival wants to help change that. Now in its third year, the fest will be screening 10 films by emerging female directing talent from across Canada this Friday at 7:30pm at the Al Green Theatre (750 Spadina Ave).
