This day-long workshop will cover the honey bee life cycle and jobs in the hive; the art of rearing queens; threats to pollinators; bee communication; remedies from and for the hive; swarm management; and the characteristics that make a good urban beekeeper. Plus, there’ll be lots of bee-related giveaways, a vegetarian lunch, and snacks and honey tastings!
