Audiobooks are enjoying their time in the spotlight – as is Margaret Atwood, with the resurgence of both The Handmaid’s Tale and Alias Grace in mainstream media.
Earlier this fall, Audible Inc. launched their Canadian service with a live reading of The Handmaid’s Tale at Union Station by Elisabeth Moss. (SO cool.)
Now, the world’s largest seller and producer of downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment is excited to announce the recording of – you guessed it! – Alias Grace, Atwood’s Giller Prize winner. The audio novel features Sarah Gadon, the star of the Alias Grace miniseries on CBC, taking on the entire cast of voices.
The Alias Grace recording also includes an afterword performed by Atwood, and is now available for download here.
