Why we like: Being a Monday-Friday office slave surely has its perks, but every so often I struggle with an internal debate with myself; to go back to school, or extend my cubicle life. Sure as a student, I was line o’ credit poor – but I was also much skinnier and had a heck of a lot of super chic vintage gear. Plus, when I drank – it hit me that much faster. My 9-5:30pm self, eats her lunch by noon out of boredom and buys newfound Wilfred gear every week (a girl can never have enough organic office apparel). Yet here’s the thing, I’m slowly yet surely losing grip on what’s on n’ poppin’ in the underground. I’ve got barely any time to seek out the next hottest dj, or indie band thus depleting my music knowledge. And I’m losing my grip on non-office related conversation topics – this is what my life is made of. Even Cyber Stalking is nearly impossible, with the severe Internet filter on my work computer. Yet, I’m pleased to announce Animal – an ‘updated daily’ zone for underground happenings that “the average” couldn’t care less about, but I must admit…I’m all over it!
