All Hopped Up! A Celebration of Rockabilly and Hot Rod Culture runs from June 18-25 at the Black Cat Artspace (2186 Dundas St. West). The opening party will be held on June 18 from 7-10pm.
After a trip to a rockabilly weekender in Indiana in 1995, Toronto photographer Liisa Morton discovered a passion project that spanned the next 20 years. Morton has travelled North America to capture an intimate portrayal of the rockabilly and hot rod subculture. On June 18, Morton’s work will be displayed at the Black Cat Artspace in a solo exhibition titled All Hopped Up! A Celebration of Rockabilly and Hot Rod Culture. Event details can be found here.
