While the rest of the city dozes between Christmas and NYE, there is one spot that will be thumping: The Drake’s annual What’s In The Box concert series is baaaaaaack! Now in its 9th year, WITB has become Toronto’s best bet between Boxing Day and NYE.
5 nights, 5 bucks, 5 bands: Take a break from the fam, round up your crew, and hit The Drake Underground for night after night of hot-ass indie acts that will shake you & wake you from your holi-daze. Every night is packed with great acts, but we’re especially stoked for the Dec. 30th lineup, organized by Toronto Women In Music. If learning to play bass is on your 2016 to-do list, you should definitely make a plan to have your mind blown by some local babes.
Yep, from Dec. 26 to Dec. 30th, this is where you go to dance, drink, sweat and smooch. And this year’s lineup is AWESOME. See you on the dance floor. (Hey, maybe you’ll find a hot fling in time for 2016.)
