What’s even better than a colouring party is a colouring party where we collectively colour Toronto’s beloved (and very colourful!) Kensington Market neighbourhood.
Adults, children and a beautiful white husky dog gathered on Augusta Avenue to celebrate the launch of the new 20-page colouring book, produced by City Blocks Culture Collective, with illustrations by Shengyu Cai and words by Bruce Beaton. From front store signage to the brightly painted bricks of skinny Victorian homes, have fun colouring your favourite vintage shops and local haunts. What a superb gift for your Kensington-loving pal, whose perfect Saturday undoubtedly includes slow coffees and wandering up and down Nassau and Baldwin.
United Colours of Kensington Market is $20. You can buy it right here.
