We’re done teasing you. It’s time to put our money where our mouths are, and our pizzas on the grills. Why? Because nothing beats a pizza done right on the BBQ. Not even unicorns.

This is how we do:

Step 1: Spark up the BBQ and heat it to 220 degrees Celsius. The grill needs to be nice and hawt for the pizza dough and toppings to cook.

Step 2 (optional but highly recommended): Blast your favourite playlist as you wait for the BBQ to heat up. Anything by The Weeknd will do the trick.

Step 3: Grab the ‘za! NEW DELISSIO RUSTICO™ pizza comes in six delicious flavours: Margherita, Funghi, Spinaci Fresca, Pepperoni Diavolo, Pollo Toscano and Vegetale Grille.

Step 4: Make it your own! If you’re feeling sassy, add extra toppings like grilled pineapple, arugula or figs – the options are endless!

Step 5: Once heated, place the frozen pizza directly on the grill, and close the lid. Once cooked partway through, add the extra toppings (if you wish). Halfway through cooking, Make sure to rotate the pizza 90 degrees on the grill half way to ensure even cooking. In 15 – 17 minutes, once the crust is golden brown and cheese is perfectly melted, the pizza is ready to come off the grill!

Once off, let it cool for 2-3 minutes, and enjoy!

Now, let’s not forget that BBQing pizza is a bit of an art form, so if you don’t succeed at first, don’t fret. We got you, girl, and we realize that not all BBQs are created equal. Here are some pro tips that we picked up during filming that will guarantee success!

–       If the crust is cooking too quickly, try spritzing with water or using a more indirect source of heat.

–       If the bottom of the pizza is cooking faster than rest, place it on a granite pizza stone (you can totally DIY it) or a pizza dish.
