This year we decided to cover the MMVA’s red carpet, despite feeling a little too old for screaming tweens. However, we took the opportunity to talk to some POWERFUL women who just, quite frankly, SLAY. We asked their advice for other women on how to succeed, as well as what they would tell their fifteen-year-old selves. Their answers made me want to fist pump, throw high fives all around and yell “GIRL POWER” at the top of my lungs (also because I used to be a tween that lined up for the Spice Girls at Much Music, once upon a time).

Oh, and we also talked to Ed Sheeran, because he can hang out in my bedroom any time and serenade me with his sweet, sweet voice.
