The Vow Project #BaeBrunch

These days, it is out with the old bridesmaid traditions and in with the new. The Vow Project is a unique wedding vendor community based in Toronto that boasts some of the city’s most creative wedding artists, producing one-of-a-kind events and experiences redefining wedding traditions, to be won by hopeful brides and grooms.

Originally posted as a contest on Instagram, the #BaeBrunch allowed brides-to-be to post as often as they wanted, tagging The Vow Project and #winVowtoWow to win her and her bridal party the ultimate girls day out. Organized and led by wedding and event planner, Lynzie Kent (owner of Love by Lynzie Events + Design and Co-Founder of The Vow Project), #BaeBrunch surprised one bride and her bridesmaids on May 29^th with a day of pampering, which included a celebrity style photo shoot with full hair and make-up, brunch at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen complete with mimosas, wine and cake, and a ton of gifts and spoils from a huge list of incredible Toronto wedding vendors (see the full list of vendors here).

The event took place at at both TSOQ (Queen West) and Mildred’s Temple Kitchen (Liberty Village).

Here was the catch: the winning bride, Jill, did not know she had won. According to The Vow Project, Jill posted to the contest so diligently that The Vow Project team decided to turn the tables. Early in the morning on May 29th, Jill was woken by her bridesmaids and taken on a whirlwind adventure that was completely captured on film. The whole day was a celebration of friendship, weddings and women and was a huge success.
