The Barns Art Market is the perfect time to visit Artscape Wychwood Barns (601 Christie St.), a former streetcar-repair facility that now acts as a hub for arts, food security, urban agriculture, and other community activities.
Happening one Saturday a month from May through September, the market features over 25 carefully-selected artisans selling one-of-a-kind paintings, jewellery, ceramics, photography, crafts, prints, and more. This month’s vendors include Decor by Ramona, Spirit of VeRa jewelry, encaustic paintings by Marianne Gibson, Mamma Oceania Handmade Soap, and photography by Erika E Squires.
While you’re there, make sure to swing by The Stop’s Farmers Market, which focuses on local, sustainable, organic, and artisanal products.
The Barns Art Market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entry is free.
