Easter is quickly approaching – and what better way to celebrate than over delectable treats from Shangri-La (188 University Avenue)? Executive Chef Damon Campbell and his team of expert pastry chefs have created an Easter inspired High Tea menu with pastries such as the Tropical Easter Egg (with coconut cream, mango curd and crispy meringue) and fragrant spiced hot cross buns. See complete menu here. The Easter inspired High Tea runs to April 6th and is served daily from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Lobby Lounge. The High Tea service will be accompanied by live performances from performers such as award-winning pianist, Thompson Egbo-Egbo. Easter Inspired High Tea is $42 per person (or CAD$25 per child).
As a special bonus, Easter inspired High Tea guests will receive a complimentary petite milk chocolate egg with the chance of receiving one of five winning ”red tickets” placed among the petite milk chocolate eggs . “Red tickets” will signify that the person who received the petite egg has won the prize – a tour of the pastry kitchen at Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto with pastry chef Kate Seigel for one person (the prize winner) and complimentary High Tea for a year in the Lobby Lounge of Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto for the winner and a guest (two people) once a month for twelve months.
