The whole Rob Ford thing (see: TERM OF POLITICAL OFFICE, SOMEHOW) has been a bottomless well of nightmare. Disappointment after disappointment, racist, homophobic tirade after stories of driving drunk with kids in the car after public slip and fall after sweatyface. Ugh.
With the possibility that he might emerge from rehab (or at the very least, Bracebridge) a changed-looking enough man to win the election looming large in all of our minds, let’s just turn those minds off for a second and enjoy a nice old-fashioned computer game. Mayor’s Quest (designed by local hero Ed Petrenko) is a computer game in the early arcade style of Frogger, Pac-Man, or Hero Quest that features our boy Robbie dodging streetcars and media on a quest for money and drugs. It’s irreverent and fun and—warning—will really steal a work morning from you if you’re not careful. But hey, better than getting stuck in a depressing news hole, right?
