9:15 pm Christie Pits Film Festival: Gimme Shelter @ Christie Pits Park, 750 Bloor St. W. The third-annual Christie Pits Film Festival will take place on Sunday nights in July in Christie Pits Park. This year’s program, “Hits in the Pits”, explores the rise and fall of great bands. Screenings begin 15 minutes after sundown with music videos by local artists, followed by a music-related feature film. This week’s screening is the 1970 Rolling Stones documentary, Gimme Shelter.
