Toronto designers Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong of Greta Constantine are so adored that they have to throw two major events in one night to accomodate their loyal following.
First up was a swanky sit-down dinner and fashion show attended by writers, editors, patrons and other heavy hitters at Parts and Labour. Following dessert, the troupe of models clad in the stunning FW13 collection exited the Parkdale haunt and slid into a giant SUV that escorted them quickly to the King West club.
The Hoxton was packed with trendsetting young partygoers, who sipped Stoli on ice and eagerly awaited the designers and their dramatic entourage.
In this city, if you attend a party and someone turns to you and says, “OMG…is that Greta?,” then you know you’ve dressed well. Even if it isn’t. Someday, after you save a bit of cash, you can head to Holt Renfrew and splurge on a gorgeous Greta dress that will undoubtedly turn heads. (This is our big plan.)
