Fashion videos are nothing new, but some boutiques and designers find quirky ways to spin the concept, and the results can be really excellent. Case in point: the much-beloved boutique at the back of BYOB (972 Queen St. W.) on Queen, Fitzroy, have created a Pretty Woman tribute to showcase their summer collection. Fitzroy Woman features a redheaded lady with legs for days channeling Julia Roberts as she searches the city with her Richard Gere-esque partner in crime for the perfect polo outfit.
You know the plot of the classic scenes, and Fitzroy’s version features the protagonist twirling in their beautiful summer finds: A deep-purple mermaid-inspired dress, black and white striped pants, fringy skirts and galaxy leggings. Read more about the video here, and then head to Fitzroy for all your summer wardrobe needs.
