Toronto born-and-bred Danielle Singer is inspired by sculptural shapes, and this influence is present in her latest collection, which drapes the form in brass chains that hang as though they were made for you.
These latest pieces take inspiration from Egyptian jewelry and cultures of ancient adornment. There’s an element to the pieces that seems to transcend the concept of throwing on a necklace or adding a bangle at the last minute. These are full-body pieces that you build an outfit around. Collars, cuffs that link to fingers, headpieces, and body chains feel primal and regal at the same time.
